[An online spiritual discussion was conducted on January 23, 2021, in which several devotees participated. Some of the questions of devotees answered by Swāmi are given below.]
[Śrī Bharath Krishna asked: Will there be boredom in doing God’s service, even if the one who is serving is a climax devotee? I am particularly asking this question in the case when God asks that particular devotee to do the same type of work for a very very long time. Will that lead to boredom? Is there a possibility of boredom in true love or devotion?]
Swāmi replied: If the love for God is real and if the devotee is indeed a climax devotee of God, boredom can never appear in the devotee. The devotee may be bored by himself or herself, but is never bored with God. Such a state happens only when the devotee is at the climax of devotion. Reaching this stage is not possible for all ordinary devotees.
