[An online spiritual discussion was conducted on November 29, 2020, in which several devotees participated. Some of the questions of devotees answered by Swāmi are given below.]
[Śrī Bharat Krishna: You are giving me perfect knowledge, but I might not have understood it properly. With my improper understanding, if I try to discuss the knowledge with someone, what if I say something wrong?]
Swāmi replied: O Learned and Devoted Servants of God! If a person is always worried about the train meeting with an accident, will he be able to travel by train? Doubting yourself, even when there is not even a trace of doubt, is underconfidence, which is like a body temperature below normal. Overconfidence or ego is like a body temperature above normal, which is called a fever. Both should be avoided. When you suffer from under-confidence, you should remember the philosophy of Śaṅkara and think that you are God. When you suffer from overconfidence, you should think of the philosophy of Madhva, which says that you are a servant of God. In between these two, lies the philosophy of Rāmānuja, by which you can think that you are the son of God. It is a 50-50 mixture of the above two philosophies. If you have a doubt regarding any concept, you can either bring the question to Me or refer to the website. You will certainly find the correct answer.
