Salutations to Śrī Dattātreya, whose vehicles are the Swan, the Eagle and the Bull.
Brahma Viṣṇu Śiva Mūlādhāraṃ, Varṣita vedāntāmṛta dhāram ।
Kunda kuśeśaya kuvalaya hāraṃ, Kṣaṇakṛta Jambhāsura saṃhāram ।।1।।
He is the source of three divine forms (Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śiva). He rains streams of the nectar of spiritual philosophy. He wears garlands of red, blue and white flowers. He killed Jambha demon in a minute.
Veda Śāstra Mathanāmṛta sāraṃ Dṛśaiva Tārita ghana saṃsāram ।
Saṅkalpā'kṛti māyā jālaṃ, Vicitra līlā vinoda kālam ।।2।।
He is the essence of the divine nectar of the scriptures. By His mere glance, you cross the world-sea. The entire creation is His materialised will. He is entertained by own amazing plays!
