।।Pañcagehināṃ Bhikṣayā Caram।।

 

Pañca gehināṃ Bhikṣayā Caram - Śirḍī Sāyinaṃ Dattamāśraye ।।

I take refuge at the holy lotus feet of Śrī Shirdi Saibaba, the incarnation of Lord Datta, Who used to visit daily five houses only to get His bhikṣā.

 

Aruṇa vāsasaṃ Keśa maṇḍalam - Satya Sāyinaṃ Dattamāśraye ।।

I take refuge at the holy lotus feet of Śrī Satya Sai Baba, the incarnation of Lord Datta, wearing bright saffron clothes with a typical round hair style.

 

Abhaya dāyakaṃ Saṭaka dhāriṇam - Śirḍī Sāyinaṃ Dattamāśraye ।।

I take refuge at the holy lotus feet of Śrī Shirdi Saibaba, the incarnation of Lord Datta, Who used to carry a ‘saṭaka’ (tongs) and giving protection to the devotees.

 

Hasta cālanāt Bhasma varṣiṇam - Satya Sāyinaṃ Dattamāśraye ।।

I take refuge at the holy lotus feet of Śrī Satya Saibaba, the incarnation of Lord Datta, Who used to rain heaps of holy ash.

 

Śirḍī vāsinaṃ Siddha yoginam - Śirḍī Sāyinaṃ Dattamāśraye ।।

I take refuge at the holy lotus feet of Śrī Shirdi Saibaba, the incarnation of Lord Datta, Who used to live in the village of Shirdi being a Siddhayogi.

 

Parti vāsinaṃ Parama pāvanam - Satya Sāyinaṃ Dattamāśraye ।।

I take refuge at the holy lotus feet of Śrī Satya Saibaba, the incarnation of Lord Datta, Who used to live in the Puṭṭaparthi village, being the holiest of all.
