Is it important to take a holy dip in Mahaakumbh for those, who are on a spiritual path?

[Ms. Purnima asked: Paadanamaskaaram Swami - is it important to take a holy dip in the Mahaakumbh for those, who are on a spiritual path? Why is the world going crazy about taking a holy dip including Naga Sadhus? Is there a specific significance on taking holy dip in Mahaakumbh on Mouni Amavasya. And also, please explain the real meaning of Mahaakumbh and alignment of planets.]

Swami replied:- Holy bath means taking bath in the morning so that you can feel fresh to concentrate on God. Water is one and the same anywhere. You must see, which water is pure and not polluted. It is good to take bath in a flowing river, but, it is always best to avoid crowds since water gets polluted. There is nothing in these formalities. The main essence is that you must have full interest and concentration on God and the rest is like a marriage function without bridegroom! There is no significance for any place and for any day (time). The place in which you are completely absorbed in God is the most holy place and the time in which you are totally attracted to God is the most holy time.
