[An online spiritual discussion was conducted on January 30, 2021, in which several devotees participated. Some of the questions of devotees answered by Swāmi are given below.]
[Kum Thrylokya asked: Swami, I am extremely blessed to be under Your divine guidance and I am learning to vote for justice against injustice. Suppose, there is a soul who does not follow a Sadguru (Human Incarnation of God) or even a guru (a scholar of the scriptures). Can that soul vote for justice against injustice? Is it possible to follow justice without fail, eternally, without any divine guidance? - At Your Divine Lotus Feet, Thrylokya.]
Swāmi replied: If you are able to follow justice and avoid injustice, without the guidance of a divine preacher, it means that you are born with past knowledge. It means that you had obtained the guidance of a divine person in your previous birth. Hence, the guidance of a divine preacher is inevitable. Even if you are following justice, without help of any divine preacher, you will certainly require His help whenever you face a doubt in your journey. The divine preacher is actually the Human Incarnation of God. Is there anything that is possible without the guidance of God? A guru, who is a mere scholar of the scriptures may also go wrong in certain critical points of knowledge.
It is the highest fortune of a soul to come in contact with a Satguru or Human Incarnation of God. If the soul wastes that privileged opportunity, that soul is the most unfortunate in this entire creation! One may get human birth again, but one will not get the contact of Satguru for a second time. This is the importance of the Satguru, which is praised by Śaṅkara. He said that if one does not attain the Satguru, what is the use of attaining everything else (Tataḥ kim? Tataḥ kim? Tataḥ kim? Tataḥ kim?).
