Dattamata Vimshati: Verse 15

Dattamata Viṃśatiḥ: Verse 15
(Philosophy of God Datta in twenty verses)

Bhramo'stu jagati bhramo na jagadaṃśa etasya sat
Sadeva paramātmano'pi nijasattayā dattayā ।
Vinodada masadvibhūti viṣaye mate rbrahmaṇo'
Pyasatsadasata ssato na yadayaṃ na śaknoti hi ।।15।।

[Let there be the concept of illusion in this world for the soul like illusion of serpent on rope, illusion of silver on conch shell etc. This does not mean that the world shall be illusion for the soul. The soul is a part of the world and for the part (soul), the whole (world) cannot be an illusion. If the world is an illusion, the soul also becomes an illusion. For the soul, this world is real because God gifted His absolute reality to this world. Hence, this real world is giving real entertainment to the real God. When God wants to do miracles in this relatively real world, either the entire world or a part of the world can become unreal because the reality of this world is only gifted by God. For the unreal soul, the unreal world becomes real. For the real God, the unreal world is not really real except in the context that the unreal world becomes real to give real entertainment to the real God and the reality of the world is also a gifted reality from God. The soul is unreal (not the real God) because the soul is unable to perform even a small miracle whereas, God can perform any miracle. Since soul is relative reality, it cannot do miracle in another relative reality i.e., world.

Similarly, God, the absolute reality, can do miracle only in a relative reality like the world and He cannot do miracle in another absolute reality. Therefore, since God is the absolute reality, the world must be relative reality since God is doing miracles in the world. Even if you treat the world as absolute reality since the absolutely real God gifted His absolute reality to the world, the soul being a part of the world, will also become absolute reality. Now, the absolutely real soul cannot do a miracle in the absolute real world. Since God is inherently real, He can do miracles in the relatively real (inherently unreal and apparently real due to the gifted absolute reality from God) world. The conclusion is that every relatively real soul is not the absolutely real God except the one exception of the incarnation of God, in which the relatively real soul becomes absolute God due to the perfect merge with the absolutely real God.]
