1. Swami, how can ‘awareness of awareness’ be awareness itself or thinker?
Swami replied:- Awareness itself means awareness of awareness, which happens naturally in the absence of any other object about which the awareness should be aware. Thinking can take place only due to the presence of awareness and hence, awareness is concluded as thinker.
2. Swami, You said that Your body is not cooperating even though God wishes. What is the meaning of this?
Swami replied:- The innermost God is wishing to do the spiritual work, but the external body, which has become weak by continuously suffering the punishments of sins of devotees is not co-operating because for any work, the medium should also be efficient. The wire shall not burn due to the current of high voltage. This is the usual story of any human incarnation of God Datta and nobody shall be worried about this inevitable and natural phenomenon.
3. When an accident occurs, God does not help. Why?
Swami replied:- Any accident happens due to the punishment given by God for the sins of the soul. If the protection of a specific soul is of no use for its spiritual development, God keeps silent allowing the normal routine procedure of the wheel of justice to move in its routine path.

4. What spiritual practices did ancient Hindu sages perform in forests?
Swami replied:- If one lives in forests, the health will be good due to freshly grown foods, non-polluted water and non-polluted fresh air. When the health gets spoiled, the mind also gets disturbed because body and mind are inter-related. Study of spiritual knowledge and praying God with pure devotion will be very effective in the fresh atomosphere of forests. All these divine activities in such fresh atmosphere is called penance. Penance does not mean somebody sitting in a place without any vibration, closing eyes and chanting the name of God repeatedly. This is just our false impression of penance created by movies.
5. Why does Lord Shiva hold a cobra around His neck?
Swami replied:- Even the venomous serpent becomes a mild jewel around the neck of Lord Shiva. This means that even a very bad person will become a soft soul losing his harmful nature by the grace of God (Api cet sa durācāro…- Gita).
