Divine Experience of Shri Sai Krishna Chaitanya

Swami blessing my sister in MBBS PG Entrance Exam

Paadanamaskaaram Swamiji,

My sister, after graduating with an MBBS degree from AIIMS Bhubaneswar, began preparing for the medical PG entrance exams. Although she ranked 7,000 in the May INICET exam, making it difficult to secure a seat in her desired fields of general medicine or radiology, she remained determined. She continued her preparations for the NEET PG 2024 exam, despite facing challenges, including the ongoing house construction, where we often discussed with her on material choices.

During the preparation time, she was having nervousness and self-doubt. Any problems that we face in worldly life are due to our own karma only. Out of infinite kindness, Swami suggested us to chant the mantra “Śrī Āñjaneya – Śrī Subrahmaṇya” to solve our worldly problems and get mental peace. I encouraged my sister to chant this mantra, which helped her to get out of her nervousness and bring God’s grace. One day, she told me to ask Swami whether she would get a good rank in the upcoming Nov INICET exam and also seek His guidance on how to get it. Swami responded in Telugu language as follows, “Prayatninchu vastundi.”, which means, “Put effort and success will come”.

Two weeks before the exam, both of us got dengue fever. Because of the high fever, she couldn’t study for 1 week. With only a week left to revise, I advised her to give her best effort and leave the rest to God.

On the day of the exam, she continued chanting "Shri Anjayaneya, Shri Subramanya" and it immensely helped her in writing the exam without anxiety and eagerness. The results of INICET were declared yesterday and by Swami's grace, she secured an impressive all-india-rank of 279. We are truly grateful for Swami's blessings. I felt Swami's grace in guiding my sister, much like a father holding his child’s hand and leading her to the destination.

We, devotees generally feel that effort is in our hand but the result is in the hands of God. But I have realised that even to put the required efforts, we need God's grace only. We need peace of mind, good health and timely guidance, etc so that we can put full efforts from our end. But we need God's grace again to attain them. Now, it appears like foolishness to think with ego that 'I am the doer'. Be it in anybody's life or anywhere in the world, if any good thing happens, all the credit goes to God alone.

Thanks a lot Swami for showering Your grace throughout her preparation. It's only because of Your grace that she got a very good rank. I cannot repay the kindness You had showered to me and my family.

Yours indebted servant,

Sri Sai Krishna Chaitanya.
