Divine experiences of Smt. Priyanka
[By Smt. Priyanka]
Padanamaskaram Swami,
I humbly offer my deepest gratitude for this opportunity to share with everyone the miraculous job that You have blessed me with recently.
Namaskaram to all devotees. For those who may not know, my educational background is in architecture and interior design. What I’m about to share is a testament to Swami’s perfect orchestration—one that left me amazed at every step.
In my field, most jobs are full-time, in-office, with long hours, tight deadlines, and very little flexibility. I often worried that if I worked full-time too, it would affect my children, especially since household help isn’t easily available here or affordable like in India. The only other option was enrolling them in after-school care facilities in their school itself, but that was also expensive. I always hoped for a part-time role that fit my kids’ school hours and often wondered why such options were not available for mothers. One day, when Swami told me to start applying for jobs, I expressed my concern—but He simply said, “Nothing will happen, just apply”. After hearing Swami’s words, I stopped worrying about it and began applying. Recently, a series of miracles have unfolded revealing Swami’s immense grace.
- First, I graduated from an interior design program in Canada three years ago. Recently, one of my college professors personally recommended me to this employer, who also teaches in the same college. Among so many past and recent graduates, the fact that he thought of me, itself felt nothing short of miraculous. This was the first glimpse of Swami’s grace in this process.
- Second, I must admit that I am very uncomfortable with interviews and feel nervous upon hearing the word ‘interview’ itself. When I contacted the employer upon my professor’s advice, she suggested to set up a virtual call! This was pleasantly surprising and instantly put me at ease compared to a formal in-person interview. When the call began, she said, “Let’s just call this a casual conversation to get to know each other. I don’t really like calling it an interview and making it so formal.” I was shocked but also instantly comforted. What followed was a relaxed chat that lasted around an hour and a half!
- Third, at the end of our conversation, she mentioned a skills test to be held a week later. I hadn’t used those tools in nearly three years, so I began reviewing them immediately. But due to her work schedule, the test kept getting postponed until an entire month had passed, giving me enough time to prepare. When we finally reconnected, she opened the call by directly offering me the job! I was shocked and asked her about the test. She said it was no longer necessary after reviewing my resume, design portfolio, and speaking with my professor again.
- Fourth, in my industry, a software called Autodesk Revit is considered essential nowadays, which I lacked on my resume. It was not taught during my college days, and I had to learn it on my own. And yet, out of all the companies I applied to, this company was probably the only one that did not require it! Instead, whatever software applications they use, I am trained in them. Here is another small amusing moment during the call. I was asked if I was proficient with Adobe Photoshop. I instantly smiled and with confidence, I said yes. I had learnt only the basics of photoshop during college days, but I got into the depth of it only when I used this tool to work on Swami’s photos since the past three years. What I learnt during the Nivrutti job Swami blessed me with, is now useful during the Pravrutti job also, that Swami only has blessed me with again.
- Fifth, this role has a part-time option, is fully remote, and has flexible hours, this combination of which is exactly what I had thought was impossible in my field. I was asked to work 30 hours a week as a minimum, and was allowed to choose my own 6-hour time slot daily, Mon-Fri. I chose hours that begin after my children leave for school and end before they return. This way, my time or routine with them remains untouched. On top of that, I was told that I could transition to a full-time role in the future, whenever I wanted.
- Sixth, one of my worries was the expenses to buy a second car if I had to commute daily for work. With this remote work opportunity, this concern has also been removed by Swami. Not only that, instead of getting stuck in traffic and reaching home late, this has given me time to deal with children, household chores, and so on after work.
- Seventh, I am required to meet in person only once a month and this meeting location is also less than 30 minutes drive from my house, which is again a big blessing.
- Eighth, when I mentioned about travelling to India to the employer, she generously allowed me to work remotely from there as well. She herself offered to adjust my work hours considering the time zone differences, so I do not have to stay up overnight to work from India. I have never heard any employer doing this before, at least definitely not in my industry. I felt speechless thinking of Swami’s grace.
When I called Swami to thank Him, He told me to do this job sincerely. It’s now been three weeks, and my employer continues to show lot of patience and understanding, offering me training and clarity whenever needed. Just recently, I had lost track of time while taking notes during a one-on-one meeting, and she herself reminded me that it was time to pick up my children from school. She even advised me not to work beyond my set hours and to give the children full attention after they come home. I was again stunned after hearing this and thanked Swami in my mind immediately.
Swami, all of this is simply unheard of! You turned what seemed impossible into a possibility. This is something only You can do as God and not a soul. Also, this is not just a job. It is a divine miracle lovingly handcrafted by You, taking care of every concern I had, even the unsaid ones. When I shared this with a local friend in the same industry, she said, “This sounds too good to be true. Jobs like this don’t exist. It’s like it was created just for you”. Her words echoed what I felt - that there is no such thing as “too good to be true” when You are behind it. Anything You do always leaves us speechless with our mind blocked. In general, if our mind is not blocked as the minimum side effect of Your doings, then it is not Your orchestration at all! This holds true whether it is Your supreme intelligence in creation, Your brilliant talent in administration, Your ferocious wrath in destruction, Your sharp fire-like divine knowledge, Your heart-stealing beautiful photos, Your sweeter than honey devotional songs, Your jaw-dropping miracles or Your sweetest unimaginable kindness. I feel very unworthy of such kindness from You, and yet I know - I am held every day by Your mercy alone. Thank You Swami, for blessing me again to experience Your causeless, causeless, causeless compassion and grace.
Padanamaskaram, Swami,
Smt. Priyanka.
