[Shri B. Uday asked:- Namaste. Thank You so much Swami! For helping me. One last doubt Swami! I am literally confused what I have to do! Initially! I started my journey to become a good biologist in treating human health issues and establish a good agriculture system. But today! After learning all these things, today my heart calmed down, I don't have any aspirations. The peace I searched in my entire life, I got it because of my teachers.
I don't have any reason now to work for society. The teachers who taught me all this knowledge, they are here. They are masters, they will take care of these things. I am happy with my family leading a normal life. These words may appear selfish Swami, but there are already so many people working for society. I have trust You; people will take care of society. Initially I thought I should take care of my family happily without problems, but now I realized happiness and problems are two sides of the same coin, if once there is devotion and self-confidence, we can face any situation.
I honestly need Your guidance Swami!]
Swami replied:- You have to take care about your family since family is more important from the angle of yourself. The meaning of this is that your family is more concerned about you than outside society. This society or world is created and maintained by God. The peace of this society is very much important to God. Hence, from the angle of God, you must contribute to the peace of the society. From your personal angle, you must serve your family and from the angle of God, you must serve society. You must contribute your best to the society so that a peaceful society will please God and God will be pleased with you since you contributed your best for the welfare and peace in the society. You need not worry about the fruit of your service to the society. God sees only whether you are contributing your best to the society created by Him or not. He is not bothered about the result of your service. God Rama was pleased with the contribution of monkeys to fight with demons for the sake of God Rama. This contribution pleased God Rama. God Rama was not worried about the result of the service of the monkeys because if God Rama wishes, the demons will die and Sita will stand by His side in a fraction of second. Therefore, you should not think about the final result of your service to the society. Whatever may be the fruit, if you are serving the society keeping the pleasure of God in your eyes, as the ultimate goal, God is pleased with you. This pleasure of God must be the ultimate aim of your service to society. Arjuna fought with the Kauravas to destroy injustice so that God would be pleased with him. He did not fight with the Kauravas and did not kill his grandfather for the sake of his share in the property. His aim was to destroy injustice and uphold justice, which is the mission of God. When the creation itself is the will of God, the fruit of your service to the creation is also the will of God.
