Paadanamaskaram Swami. With Your permission only, I would like to share a great miraculous experience before all Your devotees present here. I am sure that everybody will agree with me in one aspect that there is no lack of unimaginable experiences in our lives by Your kindness. Still, I can’t stop myself and would like to share one such experience here apart from taking away my severe mental tension few days back which is just unexplainable. I can only feel it and I am extremely sorry for my incapability for not being able to put my feelings in words.
Now, we are residing in our new home, which also is a blessing from You from the very first point of purchasing to owning it. You only graced us to worship You directly for the Grihapravesh ceremony, for which I was longing in my mind for years together. Every time we feel Your presence here in this home and all guests also say the same thing whenever they visit our home. This home is very near to our BARC colony. Two weeks back (8/6/2024), we narrowly escaped an inevitable danger. It was Saturday evening and as soon as the Bhakti Ganga session started in the weekly satsang, we had to go for attending a marriage reception at a wedding hall inside Anushaktinagar, the BARC colony for its employees. I was actually not in favor of going to the party but it was unavoidable. After the party, we were returning home by our personal vehicle. At about 11 pm we were just outside the colony and were about 100m away from a traffic signal. We were at the left side of the road. At this moment, I actually had a flash while spotting a heavily loaded truck that this truck is going to hit us. Before I could understand anything about it, suddenly a thud sound alerted us and we observed that the same truck had touched our car from the right side and before we could count one, the same truck hit our car bang on. Frightened, we stopped the car and saw that the rear door on the right side has almost caved in and the glass window pane is totally shattered into small pieces. We stopped the truck and got engaged in a little argument with the truck persons. Samadrito – our son was sitting on the left side of the rear seat and he escaped unhurt. Not only he, all three of us came out without even a scratch on our body. How was it possible? It is only because of the intervention of You, Swami. Not only this, our son was also not that frightened by Your grace, what actually should have been the case for an eleven-year-old boy. This is not the end of Your grace in this case. It continues even further.
As the truck driver was not ready to admit his fault, altercation was going to be long enough. Soumya – my husband who was driving the car, took the car to the left most side of the road as there was a good gathering of many cars and passer byes. Myself and my son got down from the car and were standing on the road just beside the car. And we decided that Soumya alone will handle the case. He told us to take an auto and proceed to home as it was going to be a time taking procedure. But I was not ready for this, thinking about the tensions that will be arising in the altercations. At the same time, by seeing me standing on the road, one of my junior colleagues along with his wife stopped their vehicle assuming some problems that we might have faced. As soon as he was about to stop his vehicle on the left side of the road, another truck hit their vehicle from the right side. Their vehicle also got damaged though the loss was less compared to ours. In their vehicle, it was the same right side rear door, that got damaged. He tried to stop that truck driver but that person escaped. Finally, they only took me and my son in their damaged car and dropped us at home. They told us that God Krishna only saved us from such severe accident, being hard core ISCKON follower. And about my opinion, as I always feel You, my contemporary God Krishna around me 24/7, I felt Your presence more strongly that time because I already had got that flash just before happening of the accident. I told them that yes, it is my Contemporary God Krishna who is saving us. And about my son’s opinion, he has requested me to put it in his words before You in his own language. And that is “When I got the first thud sound, I immediately stood up to see outside, where from the sound is coming. Then I heard the second sound but though I was almost in standing position, not even a single glass piece could touch me. If I would have sat there, definitely some glass pieces at least would have hit me. So, Swami only made me stand at that time and did not allow me to get any fear too. And in this way, He saved me.” Though we reached home safely, but little tension was still there as I had no idea of what is going to happen there and how much time it is going to take.
After we left the spot, Soumya took the truck driver to the nearby traffic police chowki. The traffic police available there warned us against registering the complaint before police as it is a long, cumbersome and tiring procedure which will decide who was at fault though the picture was clear like daylight. They informed that police would first take our driving licenses and both the car and truck would be locked in as damaged condition for indefinite period till the court declares out its decision. Hearing this, the truck driver admitted his fault and wanted to give out Rs. 3000/- to Soumya as compensation. Soumya refused the amount from a poor person and instead took the copy of insurance from the truck driver along with his phone number. And it was really a surprise that Soumya was back home by 12 hrs in the midnight, just after around 15 minutes of our reaching home. We were very happy that everything happened so fast. All three of us went to sleep by thinking of Your grace only. With this above story let me mention the other not so obvious miraculous experiences observed by us by Your grace:
1. Both the cars got damaged in severe accidents one by one, but not even a scratch or any other harms to human bodies, forget about any casualty.
2. No trauma was experienced by the minds of travelers including the 11-year-old child.
3. The truck driver did not try to flee away after the accident, neither did they engage into ugly argument.
4. With the intervention of the traffic police, the matter got solved in amicable way.
5. If the truck would have hit our vehicle on the front door on the same side, Soumya’s leg or hand must have been got crushed and he might had lost the control of the car. And also, had the impact been more severe, our vehicle would have been turned over, no need to mention about the consequences.
6. I could only see You, even when the hit was taking place. This is what I always wanted. You were there on my tongue, in my eyes and in my mind. So, all these wishes came true at that very moment and I really thank You for this experience.
7.Around 4 am in the same night, Soumya got awake to see that thunder was about to struck with the possibility of rain as this was the time of the onset of monsoon. He went to the ground floor and shifted the car from open location to under the roof of the tower with facility of mechanical car parking. Immediately after that, it started raining heavily and our car got saved from any possibility of rain water entering through the shattered window and stopped from further damage.
8.On 10th June morning, the car was taken to the workshop to rectify the damage and after narrating the incident before the insurance person and the workshop persons, they agreed to bear 50% of the cost amount for repairing the damage without much hassle.
9. This is not the end of Your kindness Swami. Since we don’t have our vehicle from that day onwards with us as it is given for repairing, from the next day onwards, we have taken for granted our very respected Surya sir who since then has been dropping us every day to the nearest point to our building by his vehicle and if we say something, he says whenever possible he will do it. After that I can’t say anything other than thanking him in mind.
When I informed You about this accident and our miraculous save the next morning, You did not give any importance to it as if You did not do anything. Not only that, You started enquiring about whether I took in writing for the compensation from the driver/truck owner or not and I informed You about the documents that he has given to us. You commented in Your regular tone ‘What is the use of studying science? You always work like Newton’ and smiled. In response, I too smiled and I had no answer really as I am very weak in these points. Once again, I said to You, “I behaved like a fool but what can I do? I am like this only Swami”. You again pacified me for this too. What shall I now tell You, You tell me. As I always say thanking is never enough so I won’t do that. I will say this life is for You and this soul loves You the most. That is what only I can do. Paadanamaskaram my Lord Krishna, my Swami.
