Dattamata Viṃśatiḥ: Verse 9
(Philosophy of God Datta in twenty verses)
Viparyaya udeti śiṣyanicaye puro Brahmadhīḥ
Tadanvavayātmadhī stadanu sevako Datta! Te ।
Trayo’pi gurava stavākṛtaya eva mekāyanāḥ
Nara ssadayanaṃ gataḥ kalaha eṣa mandamatyudbhavaḥ ।। 9
[In the above verse, the order of the incarnated preacher in introducing about Himself to the disciples is:- i) If the disciple has 100% ego, the preacher says that He is the servant or messenger of God, ii) If the disciple has 50% ego, the preacher says that He is the inseparable part of God and iii) If the disciple has 0% ego, the preacher says that He is God. The state of progress of the disciple is reverse to the above order, which is:– i) if the disciple has 100% ego, he will say that he is God, ii) if the disciple has 50% ego, he will say that he is an inseparable part of God and iii) if the disciple has 0% ego, he will say that he is the servant of God. By this, we can easily realize that all the three divine preachers, Who are Your incarnations are in one way of philosophy only. There is no trace of contradiction among them. As the disciple progresses, the three philosophies apply subsequently in an order. By these three divine preachers or by You, the human being has come to the correct path. When this is the case, the followers of these three divine preachers are quarrelling among themselves due to their foolish and idiotic minds. The three divine preachers introduced themselves through the philosophies suitable to the psychology of the disciples at their times.]
